Event Description

I.T.S College of Pharmacy celebrated Teachers Day on 5^th September 2026 with great enthusiasm, warmth, and reverence. The program was organised under the esteemed guidance of Shri Arpit Chadha, Hon’ble Vice Chairman, I.T.S – The Education Group to acknowledge and honour teachers' invaluable contributions in shaping students' academic, professional, and personal lives.

The programme aimed not only to express gratitude towards teachers but also to strengthen the special bond between students and their mentors. A series of cultural and interactive activities added vibrancy and enthusiasm to the celebration, providing students with an opportunity to express their appreciation and affection for their teachers.

Dr. S. Sadish Kumar, Director, delivered an inspiring address, motivating the faculty and students to continue striving for excellence. In his inspirational speech, he highlighted that “Teaching is the only profession that shapes all other professions”. He emphasized that teachers provide not only knowledge but also wisdom, emotional intelligence, clarity, and guidance to help students achieve their goals. He encouraged students to recognize their teachers as genuine well-wishers who care about their success, character, and future.

This was followed by motivational addresses from Dr Raj Kumari (Dean), Dr Manoj Kr. Sharma, Dr. Madhu Verma and Dr Iti Chauhan (Professors), Ms Monika Singh and Ms. Moumita Barman (Associate Professors), Mr. Ravindra and Mr Sachin Sharma (Asst. Professor), who underscored the significant role of teachers in nurturing and shaping future generations.

The students added vibrancy to the celebration through a series of cultural performances dedicated to their teachers. Dance performances by Cherry, Mehar Huba, Vaibhav, Rishab, Shiva, Vineet, and Himanshu, along with poetry recitations by Riya and Sakshi and soulful songs by Saloni, Himanshu, Pradeep, and Vaibhav, made the occasion memorable. The celebration was further enlivened by engaging activities, including Dumb Charades and Song Identification Game. The programme was smoothly anchored by Vaishnavi and Nupur, whose enthusiastic hosting kept the audience engaged throughout.

The Teacher’s Day celebration concluded on a heartwarming and memorable note, with enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty. The event created an atmosphere of joy, appreciation, respect, and togetherness. The celebration beautifully reinforced the values of gratitude, dedication, respect, and inspiration, making it a truly memorable occasion for everyone present.
