Event Description
The conference commenced with registration from 830 am onwards at the Activity Hall Theinaugural session was held at the Vikram Sarabhai Auditorium and was graced by 751participants The program began with the arrival of the Chief Guest and dignitariesfollowed by the ceremonial lamp lighting Dr S Sadish Kumar Director of ITS College ofPharmacy delivered the welcome address and warmly greeted all dignitaries speakers andparticipants He expressed gratitude to the Honourable ViceChairman for gracing theoccasion He emphasized the conference theme focusing on AIdriven advancements in pharmaceutical sciences
This was followed by insightful addresses from Mr Arpit Chadha Vice Chairman ITS
The Education Group He congratulated the organizing team for successfully conducting
the conference and emphasized the growing importance of artificial intelligence in the future
He highlighted the significance of continuous learning and appreciated the large participation
of delegates He encouraged interactive twoway communication between speakers and
participants for better knowledge exchange He concluded by expressing confidence that the

Dr Vimal Gupta Managing Director ABYSS Pharma Pvt Ltd Guest of Honour
highlighted the potential of artificial intelligence in discovering new drugs improving drug
use and enhancing patient treatment He noted that traditional drug development takes many
years whereas AI can accelerate this process and address unmet medical needs He expressed

The inaugural session concluded with a keynote talk by Prof Rajiv Dahiya Founder
President APPS UWI Trinidad amp Tobago who emphasised global perspectives on AI
driven pharmaceutical advancements He expressed his gratitude to the management for
organizing the conference in commemoration of World Health Day He appreciated the
initiative and conveyed his best wishes for the success of the conference

participation from the audience Scientific Session I was delivered by Prof Gaurav Gupta
Adjunct Research Professor Centre of Medical and Bioallied Health Sciences Research
Ajman University UAE on From Pills to Pixels Understanding AIs Role in Modern
Pharmacy He provided valuable insights into the transformative role of artificial
intelligence in modern pharmacy He elaborated on the application of AI driven end to end
drug pipelines autonomous laboratories and its integration with digital health The session
also highlighted the significance of AI in transforming pharma from reactive to predictive
medicine Emerging innovations such as AIdriven drug delivery systems and smart
therapeutic platforms were discussed showcasing futuristic prospects in the field The talk
effectively illustrated how AI is shifting the pharmaceutical paradigm from conventional
approaches to more predictive and precisionbased healthcare Overall the session was
highly informative and enriched the understanding of participants regarding AI integration in
pharmaceutical sciences
Scientific Session II was presented by Prof Mymoona Akhter School of Pharmaceutical
Education and Research SPER Jamia Hamdard Hamdard Nagar New Delhi focusing on
Artificial Intelligence in Drug Design amp Development A Paradigm Shift She highlighted
how artificial intelligence is revolutionising traditional drug discovery processes by
enhancing efficiency accuracy and speed Key aspects such as target identification virtual
screening and predictive modelling were discussed in detail The session emphasised the
integration of machine learning tools in optimising drug candidates and reducing failure rates
She also shed light on the role of AI in streamlining clinical trials and data analysis The talk
underlined the transition from conventional methods to datadriven approaches in drug
development Overall the session was highly informative and broadened the participants
understanding of AIdriven innovations in the pharmaceutical domain
Scientific Session III was delivered by Prof Piyush Mittal Dean School of Pharmacy
Sharda University Greater Noida Uttar Pradesh elaborated on Strengthening Dispensing
Safety through Prescription Screening He explained that medication errors can occur at any
stage of the medicationuse process especially during prescribing and dispensing The
dispensing process includes screening filling checking labelling and counselling He
emphasized the importance of good prescribing practices such as accurate diagnosis proper
drug selection and clear patient instructions Various factors like lack of knowledge
workload and poor communication contribute to errors Prescription screening helps in
identifying drug interactions incorrect dosages and incomplete information He also
highlighted the need to verify patient details prescriber credentials and medication specifics
Overall he stressed that pharmacists play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and
reducing medication errors
A Question amp Answer session was held allowing participants to engage directly with the
speakers All the queries of the participants were well addressed by the speakers All the
participants were extremely cooperative throughout the conference
Postlunch parallel sessions were conducted including oral presentations and poster
presentations where students and researchers showcased their work These sessions provided
a platform for academic exchange and innovation A panel discussion was organised by Dr
S Sadish Kumar where panalists Dr Puneet Gupta Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma and Mr
Puneet Nirmal shared their perspectives on Global scenario and trends in Artificial
Intelligence and Pharmaceutical Sciences
The Award Ceremony recognised outstanding presentations and contributions To
acknowledge excellence in pharmaceutical research awards were presented by APP in
various categories including Best Oral Presentation Award Best Poster Presentation Award
Best Teacher Award Male amp Female Best Achiever Award Male amp Female and Best
Pharmacist Award The IndoGulf International Conference successfully achieved its
objective of fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration in the field of artificial
intelligence and pharmaceutical sciences The event provided valuable insights into current
trends encouraged research discussions and strengthened academic and industry
connections
The conference concluded with closing remarks by Dr Sagarika Majhi Professor followed
by the Vote of thanks delivered by Dr Raj Kumari Dean amp Professor Mr Manish Kumar
PDP trainer Ms Sakshi Chauhan and Ms Nidhi Sharma Asst Prof smoothly anchored
the conference The registration and certificate committee distributed the kits and certificates
to all the participants The function was successfully coordinated by Dr Rajkumari and
jointly coordinated Dr Sagarika Majhi Dr Manoj K Sharma and Mr Shubh Deep Yadav
