Report On Industrial Visit 26th 27th March 2025
ITS College of Pharmacy organized Industrial visit to Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission IPC on 26th 27th March 2025 for 45 BPharm final year students to create awareness and impart skills about Analytical Research and development ARD in Pharmaceuticals The tour was organized under the guidance of Honble Vice Chairman ITSThe Education Group Mr Arpit Chadha Sir

IPC is a body under the Ministry of Health Family Welfare Government of India involved in the compilation of Indian Pharmacopoeia Drug Testing Laboratory and Pharmacovigilance Centre of India PvPI The ARD division of IPC is continuously promulgating changes to analytical test procedures according to the latest technological requirements and it is WHO prequalified and NABL accredited in the field of chemical and biological testing
At IPC students were welcomed enthusiastically by Ms Shweta SachanExpert Quality AssuranceQA Division The students were divided into groups and were guided by various Department Heads for the further process Mr Akash Deep Rawat Junior Pharmacovigilance AssociateTeam Lead Training and Education PVIP Department demonstrated various modern and sophisticated instruments to students like NMR LCMSMS ICPMS AAS and HPTLC along with Microbiology and Phytopharmaceutical labs
Mr Sandeep Arora Junior Pharmacovigilance Associate MvPI interacted and guided them about various career opportunities in Pharmacopoeia Commission Students were deeply motivated through this wonderful exposure and eagerly asked all their queries which were thoroughly answered
