Celebration of Pharma Anveshan 2024
ITS College of Pharmacy celebrated Pharma Anveshan 2024National Education Pharmacy Day on 6th March 2024 to create awareness on Leveraging Synergism Academia Partnership for Implementation of National Education Policy 2020 The program was organized under the guidance of Honourable Vice Chairman ITS The Education Group Mr Arpit Chadha Sir
The program commenced with lamp lighting ceremony This was followed by an introduction to the programme by Mr Surinder Sood Director PR ITS College of Pharmacy He commended the spirit and presence of our guest and discussed about Indian education system that is questioned for compartmental divisions without any crossover He highlighted that NEP 2020 would provide the opportunities to the pharmacist who can crossover to other subjects without any limitations This can make the person master of all by increasing the mental calibre and benefit the enduser He also elaborated about the skill set required for the industrial exposure through academia pluginns to become a pharmacy expert
Dr S Sadish Kumar Director ITS College of Pharmacy thanked the management for their time and support to organize the program that can establish a symbiotic relationship between industry and academia for mutual growth At the outset he thanked the President of PCI to organize such an interactive session between industry and academia He also thanked our guest of the day Dr A K Gupta for accepting our invitation He appreciated the coordinators faculty and students for their enthusiastic participation
Dr Rajkumari Dean ITS College of Pharmacy welcomed the guest faculty and students to celebrate the birth anniversary of the father of Indian Pharmacy education Prof ML Schroff She acknowledged the role of NEP 2020 in equipping students to their best and make them challenging with widespread knowledge that can bridge the gap between industry and academics
Dr A K Gupta Managing Director PharmaSynth Formulations Ltd Founder of Bharat Mata Foundation elaborated the history of Prof ML Schroff who gave his vision for Pharmacy Education in India He explained the students about NEP 2020 and the credit system through which they would be able to hunt for their career He emphasized on the requirement of success through positive attitude and cultural beliefs He engaged the students with various moral stories to inculcate them with positive attitude and take the ownership of their job He asked the students to become mentally physically and spiritually fit and remember the happiness mantra as Strive for what you want or love what you got Towards the end he asked the students to prepare their subconscious mind for success Think dream and visualize as you are the architect of your life
At the end Dr Manish Kumar Shakya Professor and Mr Ritik Saxena Assistant Professor also briefed the students about NEP 2020 and the benefits of industry academia interaction Students were deeply motivated through this wonderful exposure and eagerly asked all their queries which were thoroughly answered Ms Swati Verma Assistant Professor smoothly anchored the conference Ms Iti Chauhan Associate Professor gave the vote of thanks The function was successfully Coordinated by Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma Professor and Ms Swati Verma Assistant Professor
