The purpose of Freshers Party is to welcome new students in a friendly atmosphere and to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. It is the day where seniors and juniors finally bond and unite to celebrate being part of the college. I.T.S College of Pharmacy organized freshers party "AAGHAAZ" for
D.Pharm Ist year Batch 2022-2024 on 3rd December 2022, in which all the freshers and their immediate seniors participated with great enthusiasm.
Shri Arpit Chadha, Honble Vice Chairman of I.T.S The Education Group appreciated the seniors for welcoming their juniors. He congratulated freshers for choosing ITS and advised them to work hard and believe in themselves to be successful in life.
Freshers were welcomed by their immediate seniors with tilak ceremony. The program started with recitation of National anthem and lamp lightening along with chanting of Saraswati Vandana.
After that Dr. S. Sadish Kumar (Director) welcomed the freshers and delivered inaugural speech. He cited marathon to dream big and achieve professional goals in life. The way an athlete runs a race with all his endurance, inner core and determination in the same way one should run a race in life to be successful. He completed his speech by quoting "God helps those who help themselves."
Freshers along with their seniors got a chance to showcase their talent by stunning Ramp walk, various dance performances like solo, Duo, Group and lazy dances. The race to become Mr and Ms. Fresher was not easy. Students had to pass a talent round and a Q & A round to win the title. Mr. Ankit Sagar won the title of Mr. Fresher and Ms. Shabnam was crowned Ms. Fresher. They were awarded gifts by the Director.
The students of 2nd year Ms. Bhawna, Ms. Ritika, Ms. Latasha, Mr. Sameer, Mr. Bhavya and Mr. Ankit Sagar set the stage on fire with their mesmerizing dance moves.
In the end, students were served lunch. Last but not the least, students got a chance to enjoy and dance to the beats relieving all the stress and enjoying pure bliss of the moment. The event was organized under the able guidance of Ms. Meenakshi Sharma (Assistant Professor), Ms. Ujjwal Bharti (Assistant Professor) and Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma (Professor). The event was well coordinated by Mr. Nishant, Ms. Latasha and Mr. Nikhil Chaudhary, student coordinators from 2nd year D.Pharm.
