Janjatiya Gaurav Divas celebration
I.T.S College of Pharmacy celebrated Birth anniversary of great tribal freedom fighter,Bhagwan Birsa Munda as "Janjatiya Gaurav Divas" on 15th November, 2022. The event started with the speech on "Janjatiya Gaurav Divas" by Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma (Professor), highlighting the contributions of Birsa Munda in spreading the Indian tribal religious Millenarian movement during British rule in the late 19th century across the tribal belt of modern-day Jharkhand and Bihar. The Program further progressed with an essay writing competition by the pharmacy students.The aim of this initiative was to recognize the efforts of the tribals in the preservation of cultural heritage and promotion of Indian values of national pride, valour, and hospitality and to make our coming generations aware about the contributions of tribals in the freedom of our country, India.
