Shikshak Parv 2022
Students of I.T.S College of Pharmacy celebrated 'Shikshak parv' (Teachers’ day) from 5th - 9th September, 2022.
On 5th September, 2022, the program started with the National anthem followed by lighting of lamp. Dr. S. Sadish Kumar, Director gave speech with special emphasis on the present culture and technology. After that Dr. Shalini Kapoor Sawhney (Professor), Dr. Raj Kumari (Professor), Dr. Madhu Verma (Assoc. Prof.) & Ms. Aanchal (Asst. Prof.) enlightened the students about teachers’ day. They encouraged them to be a better version of themselves. At the end of the day there was cake cutting ceremony for the faculty members.
On subsequent days there were sessions conducted by faculty members on different topics. On 6th September, Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma (Professor) explained the theme of 2022 Teachers’ Day and the significance of this day.
On 7th September, Ms. Sangya Dubey (Assistant Professor) gave a presentation on the topic - 'Role of teachers in developing innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem'. She emphasised on the need of entrepreneurship and innovative thinking as the game-changing elements of our society.
On 8th September, Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma (Professor) took a session on ‘Role of high tech such as AI, ML, AVGC, ARVR and Metaverse in teaching learning processes. The key points of the session included the wonders created by technology in the education system and the future aspects of it.
On 9th September, Mrs. Janhavi Singh (Assistant Professor) delivered a speech on ‘Role of teacher inculcating Human Values’. Her session was focused on becoming a person of values, as a person having values and appropriate behavior can achieve their goals. The event was coordinated by Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, Mr. Gaurav Choudhary and Mr. Chaitanya Vinayak Narayan.
