Event Description

 1st SPORT & CULTURALFEST

 Under the patronage of Shri Arpit Chadha, Hon'ble Vice Chairman, I.T.S - The Education Group, I.T.S College of Pharmacy organized 2-day ...Sports & Cultural Fest on 21st & 22nd April, 2022.  We are thankful to him as he has always been enthusiastically supporting the students to participate in sports and extracurricular events. He expressed his wishes to the Faculty, staff & students for organizing 1st Sports day & Cultural fest in a grand manner.

On 21st April 2022 (Day 1), the fest started with a magnificent Sports Extravaganza in which around 500 students from D.Pharm, B.Pharm and M.Pharm participated with great fervour and manifested their athletic skills with an unimpeachable finesse.

The mega event was started at 9:30 am. Dr. S. Sadish Kumar, Director-Pharmacy inaugurated the Sport Meet in the main ground and thanked all the Faculty Coordinators for their cooperation and support and advised students to keep up their sportsman spirit. Afterwards, Dr. C.S. Ram, Director-ITS-IHAS delivered a brief speech to motivate all participating students.

Various sports events such as Race-100 meters, Shot-put, Carom, Chess, Badminton-Singles & Doubles, Table-Tennis – Singles & Doubles, Tug of war, Cricket, Basket Ball and Volley Ball were organized by the College on this day, in which students participated according to their interests. The outdoor events such as Cricket, Race and Shot-put were played on the main grounds, Volley Ball and Tug of War in volleyball ground and Basket Ball in basketball court. Indoor games such as Carom, Chess and Table Tennis were held at college’s state-of-the-art Sports Complex. All the winners were declared soon after completion of the specific events.

At the end of the day, students departed with a clear smile on their faces as all the students enjoyed the events. It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish for days to come.

On 22nd April 2022 (Day 2), the Fest began with Culture events. Students actively participated in different events like Solo Singing, Solo Dancing, Rangoli, Instrumental, Tattoo making, Mehndi and Painting competition. Dr. S. Sadish Kumar gave an enthusiastic welcome speech.

Mr. Sandeep Soni, Managing Director, Wixx Healthcare Pvt. Ltd  and Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, Deputy General Manager, Modi-Mundi Pharma were the guests of the fest. Mr. Surinder Sood, Director-PR, I.T.S-The Education Group also graced the occasion.

Dr. Manoj Sharma, Mr. Anup, Mr. Gaurav, Dr. Rajkumari, Dr. Madhu (Faculty members) and Mr. Ashu (Sports Officer) were key point event organizers and contribute significantly to make this Fest a success. All the students participated enthusiastically in all the events under the supervision of faculty & staff members as event coordinators.

Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, Mr. Surinder Sood, Dr. S. Sadish Kumar and Dr. Manoj Sharma awarded the cultural and sports winners with trophies & medals. B.Pharm-Final year students turned out to be the overall winners and B.Pharm-Third year were the overall runners-up. The function came to an end with the vote of thanks by Ms. Moumita Barman (Asst. Prof).
