Event Description

Our profound and heartfelt thanks go to our Vice Chairman-I.T.S The Education Group, Mr. Arpit Chadha for being the source of encouragement for us to observe the International Women’s day for the first time in Pharmacy.
“Woman is the companion of man, gifted with equal mental capacity’’.
I.T.S College of Pharmacy honored womanhood by celebrating International Women’s Day week  at Mini auditorium with the theme ‘#Each for Equal’. The jubilation was graced by the presence of Dr. C.S Ram (Director-Physiotherapy) and Dr. Surendra Singh (Principal-Biotech).
Dr. Sadish Kumar S., Director-Pharmacy emphasized that ‘Women are the backbone of Men’ in his speech. Ms. Sonam Khandelwal (Assistant Professor) shared that a woman doesn’t need any precious gifts; all she need is praise on the occasion. The event was coordinated by Ms. Sagarika Majhi (Assistant Professor).
Essay competition was organized at Pharmacy department on 6th March, 2020 to mark the occasion. Among 50 students Jaanvi (B.Pharm II yr), Himanshu Tyagi (B.Pharm I yr) and Arvind Sharma (D.Pharm) penned down their thoughts very skillfully. Tanvi Goyal (B.Pharm III yr) presented her notion on women’s achievement and education. She quoted a famous african proverb “You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation.” The program was concluded with a poem “Stand Tall & stand proud for all that you are” by Mansi Sharma ((B.Pharm III yr).
