As part of the campaign for Swachh Bharat-Swachhta Pakhwada, during 16th Jan-30th Jan 2020, various activities were conducted at I.T.S College of Pharmacy, Ghaziabad. Swachhta Shapath was organised by Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma on the very first day of the Pakhwada, where in all the students participated. Dr. S. Sadish Kumar, Director shared about Swachhta Pakhwada and the importance of cleanliness and sanitation in our daily lives. Also he added that this drive is to create awareness among the students regarding cleanliness and the “Swachh Bharat” initiated by our honourable Prime Minister. The students realised the importance of cleanliness and sanitation, as the role of colleges has been instrumental in realizing the mission of Swachh Bharat. Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma organized a rally with pharmacy students to create awareness about “Swachhta Pakhwada”. The students organized campaign on “Say no to single use plastic” and “Water conservation”. The students and staff cleaned corridors, laboratory, office, play ground, animal house, library etc. The whole drive was quite inspiring and motivating for the staff and students. Students were appreciated for their efforts.
