I.T.S College of Pharmacy organized a sumptuous Freshers' Party “Novato Fiesta” on 31st August, 2017 to welcome 2017-2021 batch. Freshers' Party in any college is an event which every newbie eagerly awaits from the time of admission and our freshers' await didn’t go in vain as the party was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm and happiness.
The celebration started at 10.00 am at Main auditorium, Dental block with National anthem followed by lightening of lamp by the Director, Dr. S. Sadish Kumar and Mr. D.S Jolly (Administrator, I.T.S Paramedical College). Dr. Devicharan Shetty (Principal, ITS CDSR), Dr. C.S Ram (Director, Department of Physiotherapy), Dr. Fanish Pandey (Principal, Department of Biotechnology) also graced the function with their presence.
Dr. S. Sadish Kumar welcomed the freshers by his motivational and visionary speech. The program kick-started with dance performances by II year students. The contest for the Ms. Fresher and Mr. Fresher included several rounds involving introduction & talent display. In the final “Questionnaire Round”, the contestants had to prove that they were persons with beauty and brains. All the performances by freshers were artistically and beautifully presented with energy and style. Ms. Charu Kaushik and Mr. Prakhar tyagi won musical chair game. At the end Ms. Shilpi Saxena and Mr. Himanshu Tyagi were crowned “Miss Fresher and Mr. Fresher 2017”.
The program ended with the vote of thanks by Mr. Kamal Arora. At last students rocked the freshers’ party with dancing and grooving in the Jam session. The event was successfully hosted by B.Pharm II year with the assistance of Dr. Rajkumari (Associate Prof.), Ms. Meenakshi Sharma (Asst. Prof.) & Ms. Madhu Verma (Asst. Prof.)
