DST sponsored Three day Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC)
Department of Science & Technology sponsored Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp which included an Industrial tour was organized by I.T.S, Mohan nagar, Ghaziabad at I.T.S College of Pharmacy, Murad nagar on 17th & 18th November, 2016. It was attended by 80 B.Pharm. final year students. In this camp renowned speakers, successful entrepreneurs, Government officials addressed the students. The students got exposure to the latest market trends and various government schemes available to set up an enterprise. Students acquired knowledge about the concept of entrepreneurship, motivation to self employment, identification of business ideas and to become job providers instead of job seekers.

The program started with the welcome address by Dr. S. Sadish Kumar (Principal-Pharmacy) who briefed about the need for entrepreneurs in his speech. The guest Dr. Vidya Sekhri (Director – UG), I.T.S-Mohan Nagar Campus addressed the students. Dr. S.P Mishra (Former Vice Chanceller, DSVV, Haridwar & Shridhar University, Pilani) emphasized about Entrepreneur Quality & Motivation Development were gifted good luck plants. Mr. Chander Sabharwal, (Senior Professor and Director, ISK Biosciences India Pvt Ltd- Japanese MNC) talked about Sensing Business Opportunities leading to successful Entrepreneurship. Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Shalini K. Sawhney (Assoc. Prof.)

Mr. Ashish Kumar (Asst. Manager, NSIC) talked on Business Opportunity Guidance/ Govt. institutions working for promotion of small & medium enterprises and Penal Discussion on Schemes for financing projects while Dr. Dipak Kumar Sharma (Amity University) talked about Financial Management and threw light upon various aspects to be considered to pass the loan from the bank to set up a new business. The event was coordinated by Dr. Shalini K. Sawhney (Assoc. Prof.), and assisted by Dr. Jayendra (Assoc. Prof.), Dr.Raj Kumari (Assoc. Prof.), and Ms. Sagarika Majhi (Asst. Prof.). The industrial tour visit was arranged to visit IDPL.,Gurgaon. About 80 students visited the plant. They were accompanied by Dr. Jayendra (Assoc. Prof.), Mr. Alok Pratap Singh (Asst. Prof.), Ms. Nidhi Tyagi (Asst. Prof.), Ms. Garima Raj (Asst. Prof.), Mr. Rajiv Malhotra (HCR & MA) and Lab technicians Mr Sachin Kashyap & Mr. Amit. The students were shown every step of the formulation of dosage form. Studetns were exposed to various departments viz. Production, Quality control & Quality Assurance. The students gained immense knowledge from the Industrial tour.
