I.TS College of Pharmacy organized Freshers’ Party “First Footers” on Saturday, 3rd September, 2016 to welcome the batch 2016-2020. Fresher’s party is all about making the best start to the new academic year. A time to create everlasting relationships with each other. The event is an indication of union among the students. The ITSians welcomed the fresher to feel an integral part of ITS family to take on the challenges of the years ahead. Jovial smiles and high spirits marked the welcome address by the 2nd Year students for the dignitaries, faculties and no other than the new member of family i.e juniors. The programme started with lightening of lamp by the Principal, Dr. S. Sadish Kumar and Mr. D.S Jolly (Administrator, I.T.S Paramedical College), Dr. C.S Ram (Director, Department of Physiotherapy), Dr. Fanish Pandey (Principal, Department of Biotechnology).
Dr. S. Sadish Kumar welcomed the freshers’ by his warm and motivational speech. It was a fun filled event at which the freshers got an opportunity not only to showcase their talents but also to interact with the seniors.
The program kick-started with dance performances by 2nd year students. The contest for the Miss Fresher and Mr. Fresher included several rounds involving introduction & talent display. In the last and final “Questionnaire Round”, the contestants had to prove that they were persons with beauty and brains. At the end of the very enjoyable competition, Ms. Nikita and Mr. Kamal Sharma were crowned “Miss Fresher and Mr. Fresher 2016”.
Finally the program ended with the vote of thanks by Ms. Samiksha Rai. At last students rocked the freshers’ party with dancing and grooving in the Jam session.
