An orientation program for the newly admitted 2016-2017 B.Pharm batch was held at the I.T.S College of Pharmacy on 20th August, 2016 from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Mini Auditorium. This program was graced by Dr V. Kalaiselvan, Principal Scientific Officer, PvPI, Indian Pharmacopeia Commission. The forenoon session begun with an enlightening and motivational speech by Ms. Rachna Kakkar, Counsellor - ITS The Education group, Mr Rajiv Malhotra gave an informative presentation on the wide arrays of job opportunities for B.Pharm graduates.
The afternoon session began with a welcome speech emphasizing on the importance of the orientation programme by the Principal, Dr S. Sadish Kumar which was then followed by an enthralling talk highlighting the job scenarios in the field of pharmacovigilance and related struggles by Dr V Kalaiselvan (Principal Scientific Officer, PvPI, Indian Pharmacopiea Commission), Mr. D.S. Jolly (Administrator-I.T.S-P.M.C), Dr. Fanish Pandey (HOD, Dept of Biotechnology) and Dr. C.S.Ram (HOD, Dept of Physiotherapy) graced the occasion with their presence and further motivated the students with their encouraging speeches.
The programme ended up with a vote of thanks by Ms. Iti Chauhan. The Programme was coordinated by Ms. Neelam Singh, Ms. Nidhi Tyagi, Ms. Anandi Kapri, Ms. Rosaline Mishra and Ms. Shalini Sawhney.
